We Are Open!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy to say that we are open.  Our hours are M-F 6:30-6:00 Sat. 7-3 Sun 7-1.  We have a great list of fancy coffee’s including the “Haughties” Raspberry Swirl, PredicaMint, Hughty Toffee, and White Mocha.  We also have the “Inverno’s” They Call Me Carmel, I’m So Vanilla, Turtle Me Crazy, and Mocha Me Mint, all Frappe’s.  I hope you can stop in and take a look at the place.  Also if you like us on Facebook you can vote for your favorite flavor of icecream.  Stay tunned for more that is yet too come.  I will post new pictures soon.

Here at the Bistro

So here I sit at the Bistro and can’t wait for it to open.  The remodle is almost done, just have to put in some floor which is expected this week.  Tomorrow I get to learn how to make blended drinks down in the cities.  Then we get to plan the rest of the menu, looking forward to that, I want to open by the 20th of April, HOWEVER, that is just a tentative date, nothing is set in stone.  One the inspection is done and we can move forward we will have a more realistic date to post. 

I will post in very large and obvious letter the official date of grand opening.  Keep cheking the blog or facebook page to get the end date.  Until then read up on our progress and give us coments on what you think.  We hope to open soon so you can tast all the wonderful coffee pies, and sandwiches we will have to offer.

Melina’s Bistro

Turning The Village Bean into Melina’s Bistro

The place started out orange and green, and looked cramed and small,

there were green walls that blocked the view of the front door,

so we took out walls, and painted the following pictures show the progress over the period of a few days…

the place looks more open now,

all we have left is the kitchen

after this we lay the tile and the kitchen is done, thus we are now Melina’s Bistro.

remodel almost done

We are almost done remodeling the kitchen and painting the walls and some of the trim.  Things are comming along with a slow but steady pace and we hope to open before the first of May.  I will post pictures of the progress as soon as I can get the time to do so and have the camera at home.  I will post more soon.  Hope to see you there when we are opened.
